Bio

Ty Prince – Wide Receiver Coach, Sutter High School

My name is Ty Prince, and I’m the Wide Receiver Coach here at Sutter High School. I’ve been coaching football at Sutter for the past three years, and I also coach high school basketball and run my own AAU basketball program in the area. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and I’m passionate about helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field.

I’m a proud Sutter High alumnus. During my time here, I played football, basketball, and ran track. I was fortunate enough to win two section titles in football and qualified for the state meet in two track events my senior year. After high school, I went on to play Division I football at Weber State University on a full athletic scholarship. Over my college career, I totaled 600 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns, helped win two Big Sky Championships, and earned my degree.

The reason I coach is simple — I want to give back to the same community that gave me so much when I was new to the city. Sutter played a huge role in shaping who I am today, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to invest in the next generation of athletes coming through this program.
