Mike Allen

Bio

Mike Allen is entering his ninth season coaching football at Sutter High School. A 2009 graduate of Sutter, he was a key member of two section title teams during his playing career. He also excelled in wrestling, earning a spot as a state qualifier during his high school years.

Originally from McKinleyville, Mike played his first two seasons of youth football there before moving to Sutter at the age of 8. After high school, he continued his football journey by playing one season as a wide receiver at College of the Redwoods. While attending college, he also coached wrestling at Fortuna High School, gaining valuable coaching experience beyond the gridiron.

At Sutter, Mike serves as the quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator, playing a key role in developing offensive leadership and helping student-athletes pursue opportunities at the next level. His passion for the game and commitment to mentorship make him an essential part of the program.

When he’s not on the field, Mike enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Alexis. Together, they love to travel—especially going on cruises, relaxing at the lake, or making weekend getaways to Tahoe.
