Bio
My name is Kevin Brugmann, and I’m currently the assistant offensive line coach for Sutter High School. I officially began my coaching career in January 2025, though my passion for mentoring athletes started back in my sophomore year of high school when I helped coach a 12U youth football team.
I’m a graduate from the class of 2020 at Sutter High School. During my time at Sutter, I played football and competed on the shotgun team for four years, as well as throwing shot-put and discus for three years. In my senior year of football, I was part of the team that won a section championship and where I earned the honor of being All-Section. After my career at Sutter, my journey continued to Dordt University, where I played two years of college football and contributed to the program’s first-ever playoff appearance.
Now, I coach to give back to the community of Sutter that supported me throughout my playing career. My mission of coaching goes beyond football—I want to help shape these young athletes into great people on and off the field. Coaching gives me the opportunity to invest in the next generation, just like others once did for me.
